I am a Ph.D. student in Artificial Intelligence under the supervision of Prof. Rosa Lanzilotti (UniBa), Prof. Salvo Rinzivillo (ISTI-CNR) and Prof. Alessio Malizia (UniPi).
I obtained my Bachelor’s (2017) and Master’s Degree (2020) in Communication Design at the Politecnico di Milano. My master thesis, developed at the Density Design Research Lab., focused on user-generated visualizations in Wikipedia articles. During my Master’s Degree, I had the opportunity to study as an Exchange student in Toronto, Canada. I also took part in the Datashack, a joint project between Politecnico di Milano and the Computer Science Department at Harvard University. I briefly worked as a Data Visualization Designer in Hamburg. After that, I obtained a 2nd level Master’s degree in Big Data Analytics and Social Mining at the University of Pisa. My research Interests focus on Human-Centered AI and Explainable AI. Currently, I am working on studying and developing Explainable User Interfaces.
