Institution: Università di Pisa, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna
Cycle: 37th

Mitisha is an engineer turned lawyer with a long standing and specific interest in the cross section between law and technology which led her to apply to the Horizon 2020 Legality Attentive Data Scientist’s Program (LeADS). As an MSCA Fellow at the LeADS Program she works on differential privacy and differential explainability in the context of predictive jurisprudence and is keen on researching the operational realities of assigning the function of adjudication to an AI driven digital product. She is also enrolled in the National Doctorate in AI as a student at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa where she aims to carry out her research in the field of predictive jurisprudence. Mitisha truly believes that simpler renditions of (albeit complex) technology leads to faster adoption and strives to carry out her research using the same principles.
